What's In My Bag?

What's In My Bag?

You can often catch me outside carrying a large bag full of junk. This Kate Spade tote I got a few months ago has been a lifesaver. I am constantly stuffing my tote with books, makeup and receipts. I can't help myself- I like to be prepared for whatever may happen, on any given day. Take a peak at what I've been hoarding lately...

1. A Good Book- Currently, I'm reading The Nest by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney. I'm only a few pages in, so it's too soon to judge (stay tuned for a review!) My morning commute is about an hour and a half and reading material is very necessary.

2. A Note Pad- I come across inspiration every single day. I have to carry a note pad with me because my mind runs a mile a minute and I'm so forgetful. I know I could use the notepad app on my phone but I prefer to write things down like in prehistoric times.

3. Wallet- For obvious reasons, I keep my wallet with me. Although, there have been times when I intentionally leave it at home to avoid spending money. It's a problem I'm trying to fix.

4. MetroCard- I'm a New York City girl and I can't get anywhere without my 30-Day MetroCard.

5. My Phone- I've actually forgotten my phone at home plenty of times because it's dry af. However, I NEED my music. Spotify saves me during those train delays, "there's a sick passenger" announcements and "It's Showtime" routines.

6. Bag Full of Lip Stuff- I don't know why I'm so extra with the amount of lip stuff I carry. I'm currently hoarding:

7. Sunglasses- The weather often catches me off guard. To be safe I always carry a pair of sunnies, just in case the sun got an attitude. If it's not raining, shades can be useful for pretending you don't see people.

Now that you see what I've been carrying in my big black tote...what's in your bag?
