Music to Love: Thirdstory
If you never heard of Thirdstory until today...you're welcome. Thirdstory is the trio you need to know about. Their harmonization skills seep into your very soul and will give you goosies! So good that Grammy winner, Chance the Rapper took them along for his Be Encourage Tour this summer and they collectively took us to church. Praise.
Like many of today's top artists, (Justin Beiber and Tori Kelly) Thirdstory got their start on YouTube. They've covered your favorite hits, Hotline Bling by Drake, Style by Taylor Swift and Hello by Adele. Their ability to take a known song and make it sound brand new is incredible. To be honest, I like their covers better than the originals.
After a year of covers, Thirdstory released an EP with three original songs! My favorite of the three, G Train featuring Pusha T. Take a listen!
