Vacation Essentials

With MTA's tardiness and blatant disrespect for people and the gross heat wave that's sweeping across the country, a vacation away from the city is most needed. Any place that isn't Times Square would be paradise, to be honest. If you make the wise decision to bounce, here are a few things you cant leave without!

1. A good book- One that doesn't require much thought. You're on vacation, you don't want to bring along a school issued summer reading book. Give the brain a rest. 

2. A swimsuit that makes you feel good- Listen, if you feel good in it, you look good in it. 

3. Polaroid Camera- Okay, you don't need a polaroid camera, your iPhone or Android will do just fine but polaroids are a fun way to capture memories, plus they're retro and the 90s are so in right now. 

4. Beach hat- If the sun is doing too much, you need to stylishly protect your face.

5. Beach Bag- To carry all your stuff. Duh. Your leather designer bag won't do here.

6. Mario Badescu- This facial spray hydrates the skin and could be used as a toner, setting spray and the mid-day skin pick me up. I'm a new fan and I'm constantly spraying my face with it.

7. Sun Screen- No matter what your skin tone is, you need sun screen! Period. 

8. Mosquito Repellant- Because I can't with these mini vampire blood suckers. 

9. Moisturizer with SPF- Care about the skin you're in and stay moisturized.
